I purposley seperated Aqua's keyblade away from Eraqus, Terra, and Ven's keyblade if you know what happened to all of them.
Also the keyblades are mean't to look like they are stabbing him because prophecy.

In retrospect I kind of feel just a little bit of pity for Young Xehanort. Imagine your whole life getting uprooted by a future version of yourself showing up and telling you how terrible your life is going to play out.
You'll leave the islands you consider a prison and end up meeting the guy who will be your best friend for life.
The guy you will someday murder after creating a rift between him and his students who are practically his kids. The opportunity coming up because you manipulated one of them to fight him in a battle to the death because he was trying to protect the youngest from a man they consider their father.
And then there's all the horrible things you've done before that and will do after.
Basically it's fate you are going to become the worse possible person you can be whose existence is to bring pain and suffering to countless people both strangers and those you personally know.
And then to crush any hope you have that maybe aware of what you will do, you can choose not to do it. You're told that once your role in your crazy lunatic future self's schemes has run it's course, you'll go back to your proper time period and forget all of this meaning you lose the ability to make a different choice.
And then there's the revelation Re:Mind that the MoM will also be there to watch your life play out and likely step in if he thinks things are playing out that will take you away from your chosen path.
This is why I think Young Xehanort may have just resigned himself to his terrible fate. I wonder what may have happened if Sora or someone else had tried to help him or get him to consider it doesn't have to be pre-destined. That he can fight against his fate with all he has.
Maybe it wouldn't amount to much if the MoM or Master Xehanort would have measures set to keep Young Xehanort on his path or Young Xehanort loses his memories of the future, but you don't know for sure until you try and I thinks it's better to fight against your fate than to just accept it and roll over to destiny's will.
Perhaps it would have no effect on the present Sora and everyone exist in, but maybe it'll save another history from having to suffer Master Xehanort's evil.
FYI: I haven't seen any of Dark Road. Waiting till it's done to watch it all in one sitting.
